For us mere mortals, skyscrapers and the Giza pyramids seem rather big, but they become small when we compare them to our planet itself. Earth, in turn, is nothing more than a molecule in the incomprehensibly vast cosmic ocean.
Given the full scope of the universe's size, or even Earth's size in relation to other planets in our solar system, it's difficult to truly take it all in. However, this series of images help drive the point home effectively.
