Electric Luxury: The New Mercedes-Mayback 6 Concept Is Stunning

Mercedes seems to be fond of releasing concept car details that will have any car lover salivating, at both specs and amenities. They are at it again, releasing details of an ultra luxury electric coupe.

Mercedes has unveiled a new luxury concept car. The announcement was given during the Monterey Car Week festivities at Pebble Beach. The company has dubbed its new creation as the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, and it is one tricked out car.

Taking design inspiration from classic coupes, it has along nose and short deck, a long, tapering boat tail, and gullwing doors. The inside was designed to be a 360° lounge with a windshield that doubles as a HUD, displaying driving-related and geographical data.

The inner workings are just as luxurious. Its four electric motors are capable of 550kW of power and 738 horsepower. This beauty has the specifications of a real sports car:0-100 km/h (0-62 MPH) in just four seconds, a top speed of 250 km/h (155 MPH), and a range of  500 km (310 miles) on a single charge. It will also feature both plug in charging or wireless charging through electromagnetic fields.
