Animals are forced to contend with a lot of strange objects that we continually throw at them. Like cameras. Who hasn't had a dog or cat try and lick their camera lens? I am guessing that nearly all of us have experienced this at one time or another. But how many of us have had our camera stalked and licked by lions? I am guessing probably none of us. However, that's exactly what happened to Chris McLennan's camera.

Fortunately, he wasn't holding it at the time. Instead, it was attached to the "Car L." This is a Nikon D800E, fired remotely by McLennan using a trigger system built into the remote control unit.

This video was filmed in the wild in Botswana late in 2013. And in case you are worried, no lions (or tiny robot RV cars) were harmed in the making of this film.
