Good news: If you’re one of those people who wish you could jump inside those street views in Google Maps and walk around, a new virtual reality (VR) experience now allows you to do so with Google Earth VR.

If you’re looking for an escape that’s close to a Peter Pan experience, this is the virtual reality app for you. Google Earth VR lets you see the world and experience breathtaking sights without leaving your own home. It even lets you look at Earth from outer space.

You can either fly around or stroll down streets to emulate a the experience of a tourist on vacation: just pick a spot anywhere in the globe and dive in.

While interactivity is limited to viewing, Google Earth VR is perfect for those who just want to take it easy.

It is currently available as a free download on Steam for the HTC Vive, and with a simple click you gain access to the entire world from the comfort of your designated VR room.
