Mike Taylor took this amazing image in celebration of Earth Day in 2013. According to Taylor himself, the shot was taken above Sand Beach in Acadia National Park, with the Milky Way as a backdrop.
If you look look extra carefully, you can see starlight reflected from a tidal pool in the foreground, He also had the luck of capturing a fleeting meteor from the Lyrid meteor shower.
