There are a number of 3D pens set to come out in the coming months. However, the worlds smallest is quite an impressive feat of engineering. This is the LIX 3D pen; it is the world's smallest 3D printing pen. Since it is so small, it is very easy to transport, regardless of whether you are traveling by car, plane, or walking to work. What's more, the device is easy to charge and keep powered. You can just pop it into your lap top whenever you need to give it some juice, and then you are free to let your inner artist shine!

Ultimately, it will not matter if you are sitting at home or waiting for your next class at school, bring this little guy with you and you will be able to draw nearly anything that you can think of out of (virtually) thin air. Are you a fashion designer? Or maybe you just own a little boutique? Well, with this pen, you will be able to accessorize your own clothing and create your own jewelry.

So, how does it all work? The company explains, "LIX 3D printing pen has the similar function as 3D printers. It melts and cools coloured plastic, letting you create rigid and freestanding structures. Lix has a hot-end nozzle that is power supplied from USB 3.0 port. The plastic filament ABS/PLA is introduced in the upper extremity of Lix Pen. The filament goes through a patented mechanism while moving through the pen to finally reach the hot-end nozzle which melts and cools it down. An interesting fact about this light-weight, engineered pen is that these structures can be formed in any imaginable shape."

Best of all, it is currently available on Kickstarter, and the funding goals have already been met (and then some). So you can just head on over and buy yours today.
