Have you ever wondered what an aurora looks like from a plane. Well, know you know. This is an incredible shot of an Aurora taken by a pilot while flying at 21,000 Feet. Matt Melnyk took advantage of this fantastic opportunity on the October 9 while flying over Alberta, Canada. In the background, the moon has a brilliant luster as its light plays with the Aurora.
According to Matt, sitting in the cockpit provides one with a spectacular view. Even then, I think I could live with myself if I witnessed the event from the crew cabin.
