Watch a Silent, Supersonic Airplane Drop Test by JAXA

Supersonic airplanes are the future of aviation - if only they were a little bit quieter. Which is why JAXA is continuously testing its low sonic boom design concept model on small supersonic aircrafts. Through the Drop test for Simplified Evaluation of Non-symmetrically Distributed sonic boom Project (D-SEND), JAXA aims to achieve a "quieter supersonic civil transport."
