Who's gonna be next?

Stars Are Blind

X-formerly-Twitter owner Elon Musk is seemingly having a lot of trouble coping with advertisers fleeing his Truth Social alternative after he infamously endorsed a wildly antisemitic post on the platform.

And given his followup remarks — he quite literally told advertisers to go fuck themselves last week — Musk is ready to make some more enemies and burn even more bridges.

In his latest lashing out, Musk took aim at *checks notes* socialite and entrepreneur Paris Hilton after she pulled her "Be an Icon" kitchenware ads from the platform following his outburst.

"The ad campaign wasn’t super convincing tbh," he tweeted. "I don’t think Paris cooks a lot."

You don't say.

The Simple Life

Over the last couple of weeks, Musk has made it clear he's not making nice with brands that don't want their ads to appear next to far-right conspiracy theories and neo-Nazi content.

During last month's New York Times DealBook Summit, the mercurial CEO seethed that advertisers were colluding to "blackmail" him "with advertising" — a nonsensical statement that smacked more of desperation than clear-headed leadership.

The bizarre rant, later lauded by X CEO Linda Yaccarino as being "candid" and "profound," sent even more advertisers running for the hills, likely leaving the platform in even more dire financial straits.

Given his latest beef with Hilton, it likely won't be the last time we'll see Musk taking out his frustrations on those choosing not to advertise on his social media network.

Meanwhile, the socialite is simply looking to "elevate people’s kitchens and make it more fun for them to cook" with her latest kitchenware line, as Hilton told Eater last month. "I want everyone to feel like an icon, even in the kitchen. Everyone should feel iconic no matter where they are."

Musk, on the other hand, is seemingly after the polar opposite.
