Prime Day 2022 is in full swing, and it's easy to spend hours getting lost in the digital deal jungle. To help, we've searched (and found) the best deals you should actually spend your time caring about across several categories. This story is our Prime Day hub, and it'll be continually updated to reflect the latest discounts as more become available.
Just remember, if you want to take advantage of the best Prime Day 2022 deals, you need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber. You can sign up for a free 30-day trial if you haven’t tried the service yet.
The Best Amazon Echo Deals
Echo Dot (4th Gen), $19.99 (Was $49.99)
This $30 discount on the fourth-generation Echo Dot isn't just the best deal in this story, it's arguably the best deal of Prime Day 2022. Amazon's latest mini-sized smart speaker has all the same features as its older siblings, but in a much smaller package.
The Echo Dot works with Alexa, Amazon's smart assistant, which allows you to get set timers, send messages, and get answers to questions like "how many pints are in a quart." You can expand the Echo Dot's functionality by installing third party "skills," which are basically just apps.
If you use a grocery app on your phone, for example, enabling that company's skill will allow you to add items to your list using your voice. The added updated list will sync to your phone, and you can pull it up when you're out shopping. You can also use the Echo Dot as a smart home hub to control accessories like light bulbs, sprinkler systems, and even your front door's lock.
The fourth-generation Echo Dot addresses the one complaint many people had with previous models: substandard sound. The Echo Dot has an improved front-firing speaker system. If you're still not satisfied with its sound, you can hook it up to a stereo receiver or stronger speaker using its 3.5mm audio output.
Amazon continues to improve Alexa on a regular basis, so the $20 Echo Dot you purchase today will actually get better over time. If you're looking to get your first smart speaker, or want to use Alexa in another room of your house, this is the Echo to get.

The Best Apple Deals
Apple Watch Series 7, $309.99 (Was $429.99)
Apple never discounts its own hardware, but Amazon has a bunch of deals on the company's hardware for Prime Day. The standout Apple deal of Prime Day 2022 is on the Apple Watch Series 7, which is just $309.99. That's $120 less than its normal price, and $50 lower than it's ever been before. If you've been holding out to get an Apple Watch (or upgrade from an older model), there's literally never been a better time.
The Apple Watch Series 7 is Apple's newest smart watch to date. It's got a larger display than its predecessors, which allows you to see more information at once. This is particularly helpful when reading notifications with a lot of word, like text messages or social media notifications. The Series 7's screen is "always on," so you can get basic information, like the time, without raising your wrist.
If you plan on using the Apple Watch Series 7 as a fitness tracker, you'll benefit greatly from its advanced sensors, which can track your steps, heart rate, and sleep automatically. The smartwatch can also detect when you're in the middle of different types of exercises, bicycle riding for example, and enter a fitness mode that accurately tracks how many calories you're burning. Apple says the Series 7 is water resistant, so you can wear it during your swims without the fear of it getting damaged.
The data will be stored in Apple's "Health" app on your iPhone, where it's encrypted and kept private. The Series 7 is also capable of reading your blood oxygen level and taking an EKG (electrocardiogram) directly from the Apple Watch. One of this smartwatches standout health features is called "Fall Detection," which uses its accelerometer and gyroscope to sense when you've fallen, and send out an alert if you don't respond to a prompt.
Apple says the Series 7's battery should last "all day," which has generally been true in our experience. If you use more resource intensive features like real-time fitness tracking for a prolonged period of time, you'll run the battery down more quickly. Luckily, this is the first Apple Watch to support fast charging — a 45-minute charge will refill the Series 7's battery from 0 percent up to 80 percent. If you set the Apple Watch Series 7 on its charger while you take a shower or fix yourself lunch, it should last all day regardless of which features you use.
Prime Day 2022 is full of exceptional deals, but you shouldn't skip out on this Apple Watch Series 7 discount if you're in the market for a great Apple deal.

The Best Kindle Deals
Kindle Paperwhite, $94.99 (Originally $139.99)
The Kindle Paperwhite has all the features that make Amazon’s entry-level e-reader great with some welcome extra features. The biggest difference is the Kindle Paperwhite’s 6.8-inch display, which is both larger and sharper-looking than the standard Kindle. Text looks surprisingly paper-like on the Paperwhite’s digital screen.
Amazon designed the current-generation Kindle Paperwhite to be both waterproof and dustproof, so you can take it to the beach or read in the bath without hesitation. Nighttime readers will benefit from the Paperwhite’s 17 LEDs, which light its display more evenly than the four-light array on the entry-level Kindle, and the ability to adjust the screen’s color temperature. If we could only recommend one e-reader, it’d be the Kindle Paperwhite, and it’s a no-brainer at its Prime Day price.

The Best Headphone Deals
Bose QuietComfort 45, $229 (Was $329)
Bose’s QuietComfort 45s are the ultimate pair of noise-canceling headphones for travelers, and they’re $100 off for Prime Day.
The QuietComfort 45s standout feature is called Active EQ, a setting that automatically adjusts the headphones’ sound as you switch tracks and change the volume. Active EQ ensures you always get the best possible sound each time you hit play. The over-ear headphones have multiple microphones, which filter outside noises before they reach your ear when the active noise-cancellation setting is enabled.
You can adjust this setting to let some outside sounds in if you’d like to be able to hear what’s going on around you, which is helpful if you’re wearing these headphones while walking around a busy street. Bose says the QuietComfort 45s get up to 24 hours of battery life per charge, and offer three hours of music playback when they’re charged for 15 minutes. This means you can listen to music on an entire international flight with several hours of juice to spare.
If you need a pair of over-ear headphones for travel, Bose’s QuietComfort 45s are our top Prime Day pick.

The Best Speaker Deals
Marshall Stanmore II, $249.99 (Was $379.99)
Marshall’s Stanmore II is a premium Bluetooth speaker from one of the most iconic audio brands in the history of recorded music, and proves old-school companies can successfully jump into the modern era.
The Stanmore II looks like a vintage amp, but has a deceiving amount of technology beneath its surface. Its Bluetooth feature is complemented by a set of RCA (red and white) inputs and an AUX jack, so you can connect it to everything from the iPhone 13 to a turntable with ease. Marshall made it easy to switch between these inputs by pushing a physical button rather than navigating through settings in an app.
Connectivity and aesthetics are two of the Stanmore II’s strong suits, but our favorite feature is this speaker’s EQ knobs, which allow you to adjust its bass and treble response. Being able to make subtle changes to this speaker’s sound on the fly based on the track you're listening to or your personal musical preferences is more helpful than you might think. This feature ensures the Stanmore II will meet your musical expectations.
The Stanmore II is a piece of audio equipment you can proudly display anywhere in your home, and we’re thankful that its eye-catching design isn’t its only draw. Its price is slashed by $130 for Prime Day, which is a fantastic deal for anyone who loves music.

The Best Appliance Deals
Brava Smart Oven, $1,036 (Was $1,295)
Brava's Smart Oven is one of the most impressive kitchen appliances we've ever seen, and it's cheaper than ever this Prime Day. Yes, $1,036 is a lot to pay for a single appliance, but Brava's oven is worth it.
If you're an inexperienced chef, the Brava does most of the cooking work for you. You can select a recipe using its touch screen, and it'll walk you through the entire recipe, from getting the necessary ingredients, to preparing them for the oven. Once the meal is prepped, the oven can automatically set the correct time and temperature. Brava's smart oven is even savvy enough to heat certain "zones" more than others, so you end up with perfectly cooked protein without burning your vegetables.
The Brava Oven's recipe database is constantly updated, and allows you to filter the library based on ingredients or dietary restrictions. This is particularly helpful if you're trying to make a big change — becoming a vegan, for example — but have been struggling with what to cook. The Brava Smart Oven is not only worth the counterspace in your kitchen, it may end up being one of the only kitchen appliances you ever use. Experienced home cooks will appreciate pushing the technical limits of what it can do, while novices can slowly feel more comfortable with the kitchen.
Many smart devices are needlessly complicated, and have bells and whistles to try to attract your attention. Brava's Smart Oven provides genuine utility, which is a welcome change. If you've been saving up for a big kitchen upgrade, this is the ultimate Prime Day deal.

The Best Outdoor Deals
ROCCBOX Gozney Portable Outdoor Pizza Oven, $399.20 (Was $499)
Who doesn't want to make pizzaria-quality pies at home? Gozeny's Roccbox is a gas-powered pizza oven can make that a reality without turning your kitchen into a furnace.
Most home ovens top out at 500 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit, which is far cooler than a commercial pizza oven, and prevents your pizza from getting the same crispy crust. The Roccbox can get up to 932 degrees Fahrenheit, and has a built-in pizza stone that'll get ripping hot very quickly. Once it's fully heated, the Roccbox will be able to cook your personal pizza in just a couple of minutes. You can make personal-sized pizzas with everyone's favorite toppings without having to wait 15 minutes between pies.
The Roccbox comes with an attachment that lets you use propane or butane as its heating source, but an optional accessory will allow you to use wood or charcoal if you prefer. Using gas is easier and cleaner, but you can still get traditional "wood fired" pizza out of the Roccbox. If your definition of a pizza party includes the restaurant you have on speed dial, the Roccbox can change your game, and at $400 it's a relatively affordable addition to your outdoor cooking arsenal.
