We all love Carl Sagan. He was intelligent, inspiring, and also amazingly humble. He galvanized entire generations, prompting them to look beyond our Pale Blue Dot and gaze out into the cosmos. But here's where the problem is: Cosmos. It was an amazing series, but it ultimately (in many ways) defined his life. Yet, Sagan was also a great scientist who did much else with his life.
