Robotic Companions for the Elderly

Robot companions integrated with intelligent environments can facilitate independent living of the elderly at home. Using the robotic home assistant Care-O-bot 3, the ACCOMPANY project develops new solutions for providing services in a motivating and socially acceptable manner. This video demonstrates some use cases of the assistive technologies developed in the ACCOMPANY project within a realistic home care setting.
