# Watch Tesla’s Snake Charger Slither into and Recharge an Electric Car

- Tesla's Twitter account recently posted a video of a prototype electric charger that slithers into the vehicle to plug itself in and charge the car, requiring no human effort.
- Musk and his team first announced this project in December, although it is currently unknown when this charger will be available to the public.
