Over the last 50 years, Human-kind has stepped foot on the moon, visited each and every major planet, touched down on numerous moons, asteroids and comets, and have sent not one, but two pieces of technology zooming off into the endless abyss called interstellar space. The point being, we, at our very core, are nomads... wanderers.

Could we one day ski down the slopes of the icy moon Enceladus? Is Europa in our sights? Could we one day sail through Titan's oceans, or maneuver our way through the bolts and screws that compose Saturn's rings? Maybe, maybe not. That isn't the point. As the 11th doctor put it, each of us is the hoper of far-flung hopes and dreamer of improbable dreams.

In this video, Carl Sagan's voice and words unite with Christian Sandquist's musical composition, and Erik Wernquist's visuals, to create a moving masterpiece that touches on the nature of exploration, and all the possibilities hiding out in our corner of the galaxy alone.
