During 2014, we saw many history-making moments come to fruition, including Rosetta touching down on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko; the beginning of construction on the Thirty Meter Telescope; the arrival of India’s Mars Orbiter mission; the first test run on the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV), and comet Siding Spring’s close encounter with Mars.
Needless to say, 2014 was a great year. Yet somehow, it appears as if 2015 will be even more eventful. In the infographic below, you can see big events expected to take place before 2016 arrives.
