## Free Space

A real estate firm is going to great lengths to attract buyers for a [$85 million penthouse](<https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/30/nyregion/buying-luxury-apartments-nyc-real-estate.html>) in Manhattan.

The 15,000-square-foot property has been on the market for [six years](<https://ny.curbed.com/maps/nyc-most-expensive-homes-for-sale>). But so far, no one has been been willing to pay the astronomical asking price.

To sweeten the pot, broker Daniel Neiditch is now offering buyers a slew of incentives, including a $1 million yacht, a mansion in the Hamptons — and a pair of tickets to space.

## Mystery Trip

According to a recent *New York Times* [story](<https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/30/nyregion/buying-luxury-apartments-nyc-real-estate.html>), Neiditch has been keeping tight-lipped on the details of the spaceflight.

We don't know if he's already made arrangements with a company ([SpaceX](<https://futurism.com/the-byte/spacex-first-moon-passenger-broke>)? [Blue Origin](<https://futurism.com/the-byte/new-shepard-tickets-blue-origin>)?), or if he even knows what year the flight will happen. And are we talking about *space* space or [kinda, sorta space](<https://futurism.com/the-byte/virgin-galactic-spaceflight-vss-unity-spaceshiptwo>), like what Virgin Galactic plans to offer tourists?

All Neiditch would tell the *Times* was that the buyer would receive a pair of tickets to space, "which is just a cool perk to have."

Hard to argue with that.
