Deborah Bay is a photographer who has been taking pictures of a peculiar subject. If you thought bullets didn't have a certain beauty to them, then this collection might change your mind. Here, Deborah images bullets that have impacted Plexiglas. In order to provide depth of perspective, it’s not uncommon for her to take multiple pictures of the same bullet hole from several angles (of course, these images are taken long after the bullet is fired into the Plexiglas). The end result is an image that contrasts the destructiveness of these weapons and the ensuing beauty and order of that damage.

The color seen in many of the images comes from mineral in the gunpowder light from the colored gels she uses in the photography studio.
