- One drone, the VTOL, is shaped like an airplane instead of a quadcopter. It will be able to carry packages that weight up to 22 pounds. According to Aerosense, it will be able to fly for more than two hours, with top speeds over 100 miles per hour.
- Sony says that its drones might be used for surveying or other industrial purposes. The joint-venture is setting its sights on Japan.
- Aerosense is also developing a quadcopter in addition to its plane-shaped drone, but Aerosense's video indicates that the quadcopter is built with off-the-shelf parts.
