This is a picture series called “moon games,” but a better name might be “one guy fooling around with the moon” (as seen on [BadAstronomy](<http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2011/12/09/one-guy-fooling-around-with-the-moon/#.U6ZnYfldWT8>)). I see these pictures floating around the web all of the time without crediting the brilliant artist responsible, because without Laurent Lavender, these pictures simply wouldn't exist.

Laurent uses perspective to make it look like people are playing with the moon (and, on other picture series, objects like the Sun). There is so much I could say about his amazing work, but I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Please see [his website](<http://www.pixheaven.net/>) to see all of his work. The website is in French, so you’ll need to translate it to your language of choice or know how to read French.
