For all its forays into many fields, Apple's main draw has always been its iPhone series; the only real challenge to its dominance in smartphones being Samsung. And if reports are to be believed, we're about to see their latest offering.

In a Bloomberg report about a major overhaul of the MacBook Pro, reporter Mark Gurman let slip that the iPhone 7 will be revealed at an introduction on September 7, less than a month from now.

While this is big news, as there has been no Apple confirmation yet, expectations for the new iPhone have been rather muted. What has gotten heads turning is the removal of the headphone jack, promoting wireless bluetooth headphones or headphones that use the Lightning charging port instead.

However is expected that the phone will look no different than its predecessor, the iPhone 6s. Changes include redesigned antenna lines on the back and a larger camera lens for improved photo quality. A dual-lens camera will be on the 'Plus' version of the phone.
