# Did You Know: Peanut Butter and Earth’s Rotation

As hard as it may be for some of you to believe, [the findings were clear](<http://www.improbable.com/airchives/classical/articles/peanut_butter_rotation.html>): “So far as we can determine, peanut butter has no effect on the rotation of the earth \[*sic*\].”

It's a shame though, isn't it? It would certainly make eating a PB&J sandwich way cooler! Science: Answering the questions you never thought to ask.
