# It Can Feel Your Pain. Garmin’s New Watch Knows Your “Suffer Score”

One of the more critical steps in every workout plan is beating that goal you set in your previous session—it tells you how much you're progressing. But what if your efforts could be scored, so to speak, on the spot and in real-time? That's where [Garmin's](<http://ph.garmin.com/>) new wearable tech comes in.

The [Forerunner 735XT](<https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/into-sports/running/forerunner-735xt/prod541225.html>) is a GPS running watch that features accurate activity tracking through advanced heart-rate reading straight from your wrist, and with multi-sport functionality.

But more importantly, it can tell you your "Suffer Score," which is basically a score on how hard you tried in that workout.

Garmin integrated the analytics technology of [Strava](<https://www.strava.com/>) into the watch to record your session's maximum heart rate and compare that to your highest ever. The longer you hold onto those breathless moments, the higher the score.

The Forerunner 735XT also comes with smart features, a chest strap for higher accuracy, and online connectivity. Garmin challenges wearers to train their hearts out with this new product, starting at $450.
