The Milky Way is pictured through the lens of a massive "eye"—sculpted from rock formation located deep within the deserts of Saudi Arabia.

I couldn't find too much information about the image itself (or the place it was taken), but by most accounts, it's likely a composite... stitched together using a multitude of different photographs (For what it's worth, a [similar image](<https://drscdn.500px.org/photo/72120893/m=1170_k=1_a=1/5a975a5fa89fd12948706cf52e8c8e9c>) exists, only it was taken during the daytime).
