This picture was taken by A. Coolbiere while on a road trip through the Himalayan Mountains in Tibet.

The Himalayan mountain range is about 1,500 miles (2,400 km) long and stretches from Pakistan to Bhutan. The mountains draw a line between the Tibetan Plateau and the Indian subcontinent. The Himalayas are most known for housing Earth’s highest mountain peaks, which includes Mount Everest, among others. In fact, over a hundred Himalayan mountains have peaks exceeding 23,600 feet (7,200 m). Outside of Asia, the next mountain that challenges those found in the Himalayas is Aconcagua, which is found in the Andes and is 22,838 feet (6,961 m) tall.
